bawls is dedicated to the soda... some of you may know it.
the main theme was the first thing I wrote (I usually start with drums or percussion) and I saw with that melody for weeks on end. I like the way it ties back to itself, but I was stuck on this one for such a long time as I couldn't write out of or into that melody.
And so I got hopped up on soda, and finished the track in a single night. Build it. Drop it. Let the melody play out. And finish. Was that so hard?
